NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: 2027 PROPOSED BUDGET

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Fire Commissioners of New Castle Fire District No. 1 will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027.

The public hearing will be held at the firehouse located at 491 King Street, Chappaqua, New York, at 8:30 p.m. on October 21, 2026, immediately following the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners.

A copy of the proposed budget will be available for public inspection at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of New Castle and at the office of the Fire District Secretary. The proposed budget will also be available on the Fire District website (NCFD1.ORG) and at the public hearing. (SEE ATTACHMENT)

All interested persons will have an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed budget.
