New Castle Fire District No. 1 (NCFD No. 1) is a non-partisan political subdivision of New York State that provides resources to the Chappaqua Fire Department (CFD) for the purpose of fire protection and other emergency services within the fire district, comprising the hamlet of Chappaqua and surrounding community. The 2022 budget for the NCFD No. 1 and the CFD combined is $1.495M.

NCFD No. 1 uses the fire tax portion of your property taxes to provide all facilities, vehicles, equipment, training and anything else needed for the effective operations of the CFD.
